Irish Camp in Gaza was established in March 2024 as a humanitarian response to support displaced families facing extremely difficult living conditions.
The camp currently includes 100 tents, providing shelter and essential support to more than 100 families, with approximately 1,000 people benefiting from its services. Through the camp, we work to provide families with basic daily needs, protection, and a sense of stability during a time of crisis.
Our core services include the distribution of food, access to clean water, and educational support for children. In addition to these ongoing services, we also respond to seasonal needs throughout the year, including Ramadan iftar meals, winter clothing, Qurbani distribution, and Eid gifts.
Irish Camp also serves people beyond its residents. Using the resources and facilities available within the camp, we have been able to support hundreds of vulnerable individuals from surrounding areas who are also in need of urgent assistance.
Following the severe winds that hit Gaza, we helped provide new tents and plastic sheets to protect families whose shelters were damaged, helping them regain safety and dignity in difficult weather conditions.
Irish Camp is more than a place of shelter — it is a lifeline of care, protection, and hope for displaced families in Gaza.
