Irish Camp in Gaza was set up in March 2024 as a humanitarian response for displaced families living in extremely difficult conditions.
The camp now has 100 tents, sheltering more than 100 families, with around 1,000 people benefiting from its services. Our core services are food distribution, access to clean water, and educational support for children.
More than a place of shelter: a lifeline of care, protection and hope.
Through the year we also respond to seasonal needs: Ramadan iftar meals, winter clothing, Qurbani distribution and Eid gifts.
Irish Camp also serves people beyond its residents. Using the camp's resources, we have supported hundreds of vulnerable people from the surrounding areas.
After the severe winds that hit Gaza, we provided new tents and plastic sheeting to families whose shelters were damaged.
