Qurbani 2026: Gaza Meat Gift

With Qurbani almost impossible inside Gaza, donors sent frozen meat gifts to families for Eid al-Adha.

This year, performing Qurbani inside Gaza was almost impossible. Livestock was extremely scarce and the price of a single sheep or goat had risen to nearly €6,000.

Your Meat Gift may be the only Eid meal a family receives.

So instead of traditional Qurbani, Call of Hope ran the Gaza Meat Gift campaign through the days of Dhul Hijjah, the Day of Arafah and Eid al-Adha. €30 provided one meat gift: at least 2 kg of frozen meat for one family.

Thanks to our donors, 2,000 kilograms of frozen meat reached 100 families across Gaza.
